The LiverCured app is the patient app for your liver care with InstaCured Medical Group Inc. This page explains how to delete your account and the personal data tied to your login, and what happens to your medical records when you do.
Please read first. This page is for information only. There is no delete button here, and no one can delete an account from this page. Account deletion happens inside the app after you sign in, or after we verify an emailed request.
Deleting your account removes your login and app access. It does not delete your medical or clinical records. By law (for example, HIPAA and state medical-record retention rules), the Medical Group must retain those records for up to 7 to 10 years, so we are unable to delete them on request.
Delete inside the app
- Open LiverCured and sign in.
- Go to Profile (the profile tab).
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your sign-in and personal app data are removed and you are signed out.
Request deletion online
If you can no longer sign in, submit the form below from the email address on your account. It goes straight to our team. We verify that the request comes from the account holder before we action it, and we complete verified requests within 30 days.
Prefer your own email app? Write to info@instacured.com from your account email with the subject "Delete my LiverCured account". You can also ask your care team to start the request for you.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted: your login (account credentials), your access to the app, your saved preferences, and your push-notification registration.
- Retained by the Medical Group (cannot be deleted on request): your medical and clinical records. Healthcare laws such as HIPAA require the Medical Group to keep them for up to 7 to 10 years. Any deletion of clinical records is handled by the Medical Group and is subject to these legal retention requirements.
